David started his working life at United Glass when they opened the first UK bottle bank recycling point in 1977 - an early sustainability initiative, culminating his 'corporate life' as a Director in Accor, one of the World's largest hospitality businesses. He has subsequently successfully launched a range of new products and services appealing to corporate and institutional clients spanning venture capital and Board consulting.

Martin has spent a lifetime in the property sector and his responsibilities included sustainability when he was Property Director of Safeways one of the UK's largest supermarket groups. Subsequently he has been been active in the commercial property development and venture capital sphere.

John held senior roles in some of the UK's best known major multiples Tesco and Homebase before consulting across the world of retail and logistics. With a BA in Agricultural Economics he subsequently qualified as a Prince 2 Practitioner in Project Management and CircularX on the circular economy from Delft University.

Justin Hill

In terms of the built environment, especially commercial property, Justin has let it, sold it, acquired it, bought it, designed it, planned it, developed it and refurbished it.

All since 1980 where he started his career in the City of London for then Chartered Surveyors, Michael Kalmar and Company. Justin has designed and fitted out offices, shops and restaurants as well as rationalising, altering and refurbishing space whilst the clients are in situ. His experience gives him both practical and technical knowledge of the systems of buildings and needs of occupants.

Michael won the Energy Manager of the Year 2019 award for his outstanding work at Luton Airport. With a qualification from the Energy Institute, Michael is experienced in energy auditing, metering, regulations and standards. His particular areas of interest are airports, logistics, warehousing and the education sector including universities with numerous buildings and large campuses.

Paul O’Meara is an accomplished Businessman having worked within some of the major organizations in Europe managing delivery from order to invoice. He has worked in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Security, EPOS ,and other specialist areas for a multitude of clients in varying industries .

He is a qualified Electrical Engineer experienced in selling technical solutions.

Sue is an internationally renowned architect and has held Board appointments at 3D Design, BDGMColl (part of WPP) and Douglas Wallace Designers and Architects. She has worked with clients internationally in the retail and hospitality sectors and was an early evangelist for sustainability and occupant well-being in commercial buildings. Sue believes passionately in creating beautiful places for guests and customers to enjoy and for staff to work, that are also commercially effective.

Joanna Hayes

Joanna has had a successful career in B2B sales and worked in the sustainability sector. Her experience of working with architects, the construction sector, retailers and manufacturing including the food and beverage industry, gives her good insight into the cost control considerations all these sectors face in normal times – and now more so than ever as all organisations seek to offset the bottom line impact of Covid-19 and restore their battered balance sheets.

David has a passion for sustainability and is a long term resident of the Isle of Wight - a nominated UNESCO BIOSPHERE. The island is therefore the perfect place to test out new green technologies and the Isle of Wight Council is pushing hard to establish the island as a test bed centre of excellence for sustainability products and services. David, with his deep appreciation of the local issues and strategy, as well as knowing many of the key decision makers driving this agenda, acts as our local liaison on the island

Ian has spent his career in food manufacturing always seeking to run high efficiency operations and as such, is keenly aware of the need for outstanding air conditioning and refrigeration systems that are not only operationally effective, but also cost effective to run. This developed his successful food manufacturing turnaround capability that has been put to good use in some of the UK’s best known brands. He focuses on manufacturing excellence, environmental factors and waste management – all available within the Ecofocus Group product range.

David Scollick

David has an HNC in Electronic Engineering. He has 15 years business development experience in Contract Electronics Manufacturing, (CEM/EMS) working with the UK and Southeast Asian based CEM/EMS, prospecting and winning business from a worldwide customer base across all market sectors including Medical, Automotive, High-End Consumer Products, Industrial, Defence & Aerospace and IoT.

Previous sales roles include Electrical Compliance Testing Services, Lighting, Fire Alarm Systems, and Nurse Call products.
